Fulfillment for both high and low volume applications:
Right from the start, your customer's recorded message is connected to an order number generated by your e-commerce engine. Our software simply grabs this number from your site at the moment your customer decides to record a message. The message is then stored on our server. Most users of the Voice-Express system choose to have the message card show as a unique line item on their pick slip and associated with a gift card listed as a separate line item.
Low Volume:
For low volume applications, to retrieve the message from any location and record it onto a gift card, you simply:
- Attach the card to any computer connected to the Internet (image 1A below)
- Input the order number into the screen provided (image 2A below)
- Click "submit" and then "play" (image 3A below)
The message is recorded onto the card in real time. The whole process should take no more than a minute. Just unplug the card, enclose with the gift, and off it goes.
High Volume:
For high volume applications the fundamentals of the process are essentially the same, but are easily automated. Typically a bar code is associated with the message.
- When this bar code is scanned, the message is automatically retrieved
- The voice card is then automatically inserted into a programmer by a stacker which holds a supply of these cards, and the associated message is automatically downloaded into the card
- The card is then removed from the programmer, packaged with the gift, and shipped
With this method, a programmer can be recording messages onto several cards simultaneously.
We will work with you to help you implement the Voice-Express system with the minimum possible impact on your current fulfillment process.
